The former kindergarten Asilo Ciani (1892) reopens as the structure for events in Lugano and is now called Ex-Asilo Ciani.
In downtown Lugano on the Viale Cattaneo, the Ex-Asilo Ciani is exclusively managed by the Convention Centre. The historical building dates back to the 19th century and is located on a property of about 4000 square meters enriched by the presence of century old trees.
The location contains about ten meeting rooms of between 10 and 60 square meters. On the ground floor in the middle of the building, there is a patio of 280 square meters, ideal for all kind of events. The peculiarity of its pyramid-shaped skylight in glass and metal and the decoration of the round arches make it a unique venue. The patio is surrounded by a series of rooms that can be used for small meetings, exhibitions and conferences.
All the meeting rooms enjoy natural sunlight.
