New openings, new tourist products, and new ways to stay: there is a buzz in the Ticino tourism world
Tourism in Ticino is thriving, with new accommodations and initiatives enhancing all four regions of the canton. In recent months, several notable hotels have opened, including the Hampton by Hilton in Locarno, the Dorint Resort & Spa in Riazzino, the Ascona Lodge, Casa Moscia in Ascona, and the Seven Town House Boutique Hotel in Locarno.
In the Lugano area, recent openings include the Swiss Diamond Boutique Hotel La Romantica in Melide, the B5 Boutique Hotel in Lugano, and the Locanda della Masseria (with rooms), also in Lugano.
On Monte Generoso, the Albergo Diffuso project continues to grow, with the opening of Alpe di Caviano and, more recently, the Cà Nani inn with accommodation in Casima. In the Mendrisiotto region, a mention goes to the B&B Villa Patria in Brusino Arsizio, while in Bellinzona and northern Ticino, highlights include the new TCS campsite in Olivone, the Arbed Living Hotel in Arbedo-Castione, and the B&B Casa Gatti in Acquarossa.
