Artù, the small train of the Castles

2024 season
The train is in service from 30.03.2024 to 03.11.2024

Important information: During the event "Natale in Città", the Artù Train will run every Wednesday and Saturday from 30th November to 4th January, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, offering a tour of the historic centre starting from Largo Elvezia.
The ride is free of charge.
Service will be suspended on 25th of December and  on 1st of January.

The tourist train service is available during the summer season, bringing visitors to Montebello Castle and Sasso Corbaro Castle. The direct link is able to comfortably transport 40 passengers, who can sit back and enjoy a spectacular view throughout the trip. 

The journey begins from the Bellinzona historic city centre and reaches the Montebello and Sasso Corbaro castles. Since it begins in the city centre, you can also catch a glimpse of the hamlet’s main historical monuments.

The tour lasts about one hour and tickets can be purchased at the point of departure or online.

Don’t miss the Artù tourist train, featuring breath-taking views of the city and its enchanting surroundings!

To better experience the experience, an app, smARTravel, has been created, with audioguide function in four languages (Italian, German, French and English) to discover all the points of interest along the way!

• Sunday - Friday: 10.00, 11.20, 13.30, 15.00, 16.30 departure from Piazza Collegiata
• Saturday: 11.20 and 13.30 departure from Piazza Governo, 15.00 and 16.30 departure from Piazza Collegiata
