The Torre dei Forni building is the result of the pioneering regeneration of the former Saceba cement works in the lower part of the Breggia Gorge Park. This industrial archaeology site illustrates the deep scars left on the landscape by the exploitation of natural resources. There is an evident contrast between the rural and industrial activities, which had to share the area for almost half a century.
The Torre now houses a museum that explores the production of cement and the changes that took place in the area. The various levels are very tall and support the old kilns used to fire the cement, as well as the silos for blending the raw meal. The fourth floor is home to a multifunctional space with large windows, ideal for conferences, seminars, cultural and music events, film screenings, aperitifs and dinners.
