Monte Tamaro

Are you looking for a meeting room which is easily accessible from every corner of the canton? In a place that gives your event that sparkle? There are two meeting rooms on Monte Tamaro that could just be your solution.

The valley station of the cable car is located a few km from the motorway exit and at 300 m from the Rivera railway station. After a 12-minute ride with the cable car you reach Alpe Foppa, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Lugano and Bellinzona area. The Alpe Foppa Restaurant is located only a few metres from the arrival station.

The “Tamaro” room with its 180 m2 is able to host up to 140 seated people, while the “Egidio” room can accommodate up to 50 people and is perfect for smaller meetings.

Both rooms are equipped with beamer, flip chart, sound system and Wi-Fi. The meeting rooms are accessible daily from April to beginning of November from 9:00 to 17:00 (July and August until 18:00). From 2025 the meeting rooms are open also in winter, on weekends and during the local school holidays from 09:00 until 16:30. In addition to meeting spaces, you will find an outdoor terrace, ready to welcome
your banquets and aperitifs.

Monte Tamaro is known to be a mountain that offers many experiences and consequently has many different team building offers. From adrenaline-pumping activities, such as the coaster bob, the Zip Line or the Adventure Park (summer only), to a guided tour of the Church Santa Maria degli Angeli, or even the Crime Trail and hiking- or mountain biking tour: the offer is varied.
