Castello Visconteo is a beautiful historic castle, set in the old centre of Locarno. Built in the year 998, this enchanting building was the former residence of the Visconti Family from Milan. It features various halls with richly inlayed ceilings and a beautiful XVth century inner court. As well as an archaeological museum, this castle can nowadays be rented in its entirety for private events, including the hosting of meetings, conferences, receptions and gala dinners, enchanting the guests in the magical medieval atmosphere.
