The Museo Vincenzo Vela is considered one of the most important examples of house-cum-museum dating from the 19th Century. Beyond the collection of original plaster models by the well-known sculptor Vincenzo Vela (1820-1891), the museums houses the bequests of his painter-son Spartaco and his elder brother – also a sculptor – Lorenzo, in addition to vintage photographs, landscape and genre paintings, belonging to their private collections and their private library.
Museo Vincenzo Vela rents its premises for lectures, photography exhibitions, film screenings, concerts, gatherings and private events with a maximum of 100 participants. The outdoor area, which includes a covered porch and pavilions in the park, is also suitable for aperitifs and standing dinners.
