PalaCinema Locarno AS
PalaCinema Locarno SA is the hub for audiovisual culture and the audiovisual arts in Ticino, founded in 2017.
It hosts five prestigious resident institutions: the Locarno Film Festival; the CISA film school; the Ticino Film Commission; SUPSI education robotics laboratories and the RSI antenna in the Locarno region.
The 500-square-metre Spazio PalaCinema, the 300-square-metre Terrazza PalaCinema and a fully equipped meeting room are available for hire for all types of events.
The PalaCinema Locarno also includes three cinemas with a total of 714 seats, the Foyer and the bar-restaurant Movie managed by Enjoy Arena SA/Locarnoevents.
PalaCinema Locarno SA also manages the lettings on the Piazza Remo Rossi (1600sqm), named after the illustrious Locarno sculptor, creator of the ‘Pardo’.
The event spaces are located in the heart of Locarno's historic centre just a few steps from the renowned Piazza Grande, and are set in a context of iconic contemporary architecture.
