The “Teatro Sociale Bellinzona”, located in the heart of the city of Bellinzona, was built between 1846 and 1847 and completely restored in 1997. It is the only “Italian style” theatre in Switzerland and is classified as “monument of national and historical importance”. It’s elegant and refined auditorium can seat up to 331 spectators and includes a main floor, two levels of boxes and a gallery, which combined with a stunningly styled lobby, only adds to the timeless beauty of the building.
