Following its renovation in March 2023 and reopening, Buffet Bellavista — the charming grotto located at the station of the same name on the cogwheel railway that has connected Capolago to the summit of Monte Generoso since 1890 — has become an exclusive venue for private and corporate events.

This iconic destination of Ticino tourism brings back to the Mendrisiotto region, its residents, and all Monte Generoso enthusiasts, a wave of emotions, cherished memories, and the beauty of a truly unique panorama.

It is the ideal place for a break after a hike, a business lunch, an anniversary celebration, or simply a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The venue can be reserved exclusively for evening private events.

Inside, it offers 40 seats across two floors, with a large fireplace and two wood stoves creating a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Outside, wooden tables and benches provide an immersive experience in nature. The menu features simple, authentic dishes from Ticino’s culinary tradition, complemented by a daily special inspired by seasonal ingredients.
