At the heart of a natural oasis along the Swiss border stands the majestic Monte Generoso. For over 134 years, the cogwheel railway has run from Capolago on Lake Lugano to the summit at 1704 metres, covering 9 km through the stunning mountain landscape of the Monte Generoso Natural Park.

If you're looking to boost team motivation and engagement, organise successful events with partners or clients, or share new, forward-thinking ideas, this is the right place. By alternating sessions in the conference room with outdoor activities, you'll turn your workdays into moments of connection and discovery.

It’s also a stunning setting for bespoke wedding parties tailored to your style and needs. The “Fiore di pietra” restaurant offers high-quality cuisine inspired by tradition, with a refined, modern twist. The multilingual staff is professional, discreet, and elegant. You can arrive with the scenic cogwheel train or experience vintage charm aboard Switzerland’s oldest steam train in a Belle Époque-style carriage.

The venue features the self-service “Generoso” restaurant with 120 seats and direct access to a terrace with an additional 120 seats, the “Fiore di pietra” restaurant with 120 seats, and the “Belvedere” conference room with a capacity of 100 seats.

We are the ideal location for weddings: the 360° panoramic terrace, beautiful nature in every season, the architecture of the Fiore di pietra, and the professionalism of our staff make for an unforgettable wedding.
