Sasso San Gottardo

On the magnificent Gotthard Pass, in the imposing caverns and tunnels of the former 'Sasso da Pigna' fortress, one of the largest and most impressive underground defence structures in Switzerland was built. Now a museum, the Sasso San Gottardo welcomes numerous visitors during its seasonal opening.

The Crystal Cavern and the Chamber of Wonders focus on crystals as clear as water and other minerals from the Gotthard region. In the crystal cavern there are also loungers on which it is possible, for example, to admire crystals in peace and quiet.

Celebrate the most beautiful day of your life in the heart of Switzerland, accompanied by magnificent crystals. On your wedding day, you will enter a unique new world within the Gotthard massif and its magnificence.

On the Gotthard Pass and close to our venue is the Gotthard Hospice with restaurant, rooms and the possibility of organising a catering with an external partner.

Civil wedding. The Crystal Hall is the only space in the Sasso San Gottardo where you are allowed to hold a civil marriage ceremony.

EVENTS

Our facility also offers the possibility of organising banquets, private concerts, and catering of your choice in an unusual but very atmospheric setting with spectacular acoustics.
