La Cantina is a true and traditional wine cellar built at the turn of the 1700s and 1800s on the foothills of Monte Generoso in Ticino, Switzerland. Its primary function is related to the refreshment and gathering of the ancient winemakers and inhabitants of Mendrisiotto. Its restoration project required several years with careful research of materials related to Ticino tradition with a blending of modernity and today's technology and functionality. Designed with an emphasis on refinement, the space features temperature-controlled wine storage rooms, custom-made tasting rooms and luxurious seating that create an unforgettable experience.
