There is nothing more official and majestic than a meeting in Castelgrande, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which dominates Bellinzona, capital of Ticino.

As soon as you pull into Bellinzona station, you breathe in the historical air of the city. The cobbled Viale Stazione and the city centre, the historical buildings and the three medieval castles welcome you to Ticino’s capital. And now, as you enter the castle, you feel ready for your presentation.

Inside the hall, developed out of the former arsenal, you feel charged as you begin your opening speech in front of your 300 guests. You couldn’t have wished for a more evocative room for such an important meeting, which gets underway with the perfect atmosphere.

And now, as the official programme draws to an end, you move to the Ristorante Castelgrande immediately beneath the hall for refreshments that will delight every palate with local products and typical dishes from Ticino.

Following a mouthwatering lunch, a breath of fresh air in the courtyard gives you a new lease of life. While some have to get back to work, you and a small group of guests set out on a wonderful walk to Montebello castle. The master salami makers await you there, ready to teach you how to tie a real Ticino salami, which will mature within the medieval walls.
